Refund Policy
5.1 General
As NZES allocates a considerable amount of resources and time into each student, we cannot issue a full refund. The refund policy outlined below aims to strike a balance between compensating the student for their decision to withdraw from the course and recovering the costs incurred by NZES in providing the necessary resources and support to the student.
5.2 Refund Eligibility
A student is eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
(a) The student submits a written request to un-enroll from the course within 30 days of signing up.
(b) The student has not been allocated an excessive amount of time or resources by their tutor, as determined by NZES at its sole discretion.
5.3 Refund Amount
If a student meets the eligibility criteria for a refund:
(a) NZES shall issue a refund of 80% of the total course costs paid by the student.
(b) The remaining 20% of the total course costs shall be retained by NZES to cover the administrative and resource costs incurred.
5.4 Refund Process
To request a refund, the student must:
(a) Submit a written request to un-enroll from the course to support@nzes.ac.nz or contact@nzes.ac.nz or one of the administrative team.
(b) Provide a valid reason for requesting the refund and any relevant supporting documentation as required by NZES.
NZES shall assess the refund request and determine the eligibility and amount of the refund. If approved, the refund shall be issued to the student’s New Zealand bank account within 30 days of the refund request approval.
5.5 Refund Exceptions
In certain cases, where a considerable amount of time and resources have been spent on a student by their tutor, NZES reserves the right to deny a refund, regardless of course progression. This decision shall be at the sole discretion of NZES.
Please note that no refunds shall be issued for students who fail to meet the programme entry requirements or fail to provide the necessary documentation as required by NZES.
